Solo show in Seattle to open May 6th, 2015
Fulgencio will open his solo show at Baas Framing Studio, 2703 E. Madison St., Seattle, WA 98112 on Wednesday, May 6th, 2015, from 5 to 8 PM. He has been working on a series of small acrylics on plywood in his usual warm colors. With the tools for making woodblocks, he carves the plywood, then applies layers of paint in the relief surfaces. He has been experimenting with fire, as well, lighting the plywood briefly aflame to create blackened areas from the smoke.
Overall, it is an exciting time and we are confident you won't want to miss the show. The exhibit runs May 6th through June 20th. For more images and info see:www.baasframingstudio.com
